Jack Warren is a programmer with experience in genre, documentary, and short films. They have worked with nonprofits and major media companies to bring the best in independent film to audiences online and in person, as well as working on social impact campaigns for award-winning projects.
Since 2022, Jack has worked with Kait Halibozek Consulting to help important stories reach audiences that need them most. Coordinating grassroots screenings for award-winning documentaries including War Game and The Quiet Epidemic, Jack utilizes the unique power of film to make a difference, spreading awareness about political violence, public health crises, income inequality, and other issues facing communities all over the world.
Jack curates and organizes the ongoing Emerging Hudson Valley Filmmakers series, working with Artport Kingston to showcase a wide range of work from filmmakers with local roots, including N'namdi Andersen, Victoria Barbarito, Jack Fessenden, Max Friedlich, Emily Gurland, Inna Ivanovskaya, Olive Milford, Kasey Oldford, Hudson Price, Benny Rendell, Elle Rose Rinaldi, Cody Victor and Miles Warren. In 2023 and 2024, Jack worked with Gunpowder & Sky to bring the spookiest in horror, sci-fi, and the paranormal to millions of viewers through their free ad-supported television channels Horror by ALTER and Alien Nation by DUST, available on Tubi, Samsung, Sling, and more. Jack also worked with the ALTER and DUST YouTube channels, the top online destinations for horror and sci-fi short films.
